For the first ever Nitro Rally Cross as part of the Nitro Circus World Games, I was contacted by the agency Charts & Darts to serve as both creative director & photographer for their coverage for title-sponsor and spec-tire Yokohama Tire’s event coverage of this never-before-seen competition, straight from the twisted mind of Travis Pastrana.
Rather than simply posting event coverage, we opted to break this all-new race format into a series of “chapters” highlighting different elements of the track, the tires, the drivers, etc. These chapters were captured and created on-site. Each chapter consisted of a video and photo post and all posts were delivered to each platform in both organic and stories features.
A few days after the race ended, we released a final recap video with highlights, guest appearances and more.
